Smartmatic President for Asia Pacific Cesar Flores has confirmed that he is going out with former beauty queen and now TV show host Ruffa Gutierrez.

This confirmation came about after rumors were circulating that a budding romance is becoming more obvious between the mother of two and the 36-year Venezuelan company executive.

Aside from dating, Cesar Flores and Ruffa G. are also frequently texting. Ruffa has also admitted that the top honco of the company that facilitated that first ever automatic poll in the Philippines is very sweet and kind-hearted.

“He is a nice guy, very charming, very endearing and…ayun mahilig siyang mag-text. Siya yung bago kong textmate.”

So that means that Sen. Pia Cayetano is out of the picture?

TV5’s “Documentado” once aired a segment about Cesar Flores and Sen. Pia Cayetano seemingly so sweet in the halls of Congress with the lady senator even asking Flores if he swims and exchanged numbers. The body language can tell all.

Asked about the possibility of a romantic relationship between Sen. Cayetano, Cesar Flores only replied with, “There is love outside politics” and went away with a smile.

So Ruffa G. could be that love outside politics and Pia Cayetano out.

Ruffa Gutierrez: There Was an Overlap Between Me and Shaina

John Lloyd Cruz has been labeled as an “Overlap King”.

After admitting that Shaina Magdayao is his present girlfriend and at the same time had a relationship with Ruffa Gutierrez people were not convinced that John Lloyd was not involved into overlapping his relationship with Shaina and Ruffa.

Now, Ruffa herself admitted that there was an overlap during an interview last Sunday on TV5’s “Paparazzi” with Christy Fermin.

Check out the transcript of the interview especially on the last part where Ruffa admitted and felt that there was indeed an overlap.

Ruffa Gutierrez: Itong pinag-uusapan namin, si John Lloyd. I’m very happy na at least dun sa interview [ni John Lloyd]… Kasi everybody is like waiting for my reaction na ‘Anong masasabi mo na si John Lloyd umamin na sa The Buzz na sila na ni Shaina. Akala nila dun ko lang nalaman, na na-depress ako, nag-iiyak ako. Hello! Nung nalaman ko nga na ikakasal si Yilmaz, hinihintay ko na mag-emotional breakdown ako, na magwala ako, na magkulong ako sa kuwarto, it never happened. Ito pa kaya? Hello! I’m too busy.

And the thing is, I already knew it a long time ago. Kasi kami naman ni JL, very open ang communication namin. So kung may problema on his part or my part, we’re just a phone call away. So, hindi ako na-shock. As a matter of fact, siguro ang reaction ko, siguro just like anyone else—finally, di ba? Especially for me…ma-clear na rin ako. And alam na ng mga tao kung ano yung totoo.

Now, with regards dun sa inamin rin niya na we had a relationship, very special, I’m very happy that he acknowledged that. Kasi pag kaming dalawa lang, he acknowledges it naman. Nakakatuwa yung sa sobrang shock ko, hindi ako…I wasn’t expecting him to say that. Kasi ang usapan namin from the very beginning, was not to talk about it. Pinag-usapan talaga namin na isikreto. Kasi ako naman, even with Yilmaz, everybody found out na lang kung anong ‘itsura niya after the wedding. I’m very private when it comes to my private life.

Yes, we did have special times together. Nakita ninyo, me lumabas ba? Unless we were spotted, nakunan kami ng picture sa States. Tinanggi namin talaga yun. You know, Tita Ethel Ramos called me and she said to me, basahin ko raw ang YES! magazine [July 2010 issue] kasi may feature daw si JL dun. Ayaw naman niyang sabihin kung ano yung sinabi. Basta matutuwa raw ako at tataba talaga ang puso ko.

I’m very thankful to JL na pinakinggan niya yung advice ko. Sabi ko sa kanya, ‘Be a man and be a man of character because yun ang dala-dala mo whether sikat ka in the future or malaos ka one day.’ Hopefully hindi mangyari. You know I always believe in a man of character. And you know, a man who stands by his decision. And alam ko, it’s very difficult for us, the whole of last year.

I’m just so happy na every time he says something about me, it’s always with respect. Kasi yun naman ang agreement namin na when we decided to have our final closure, na walang siraan, don’t say bad things about each other. And I’m very, very thankful and grateful that he’s doing that part of the deal.”

Cristy: Pinagsabay ba kayo ni Shaina?

Ruffa: Sinabi niya, hindi, di ba? Ang alam ko kasi, wala silang commitment. Lately lang sila nagkaroon ng commitment. So if you are not dating someone exclusively, na wala naman kayong formal na commitment sa isa’t isa… depende sa agreement ninyo yun, e, di ba? I know my agreement with JL. And I don’t know what his agreement is with other people.

Cristy: Nag-overlap ba?

Ruffa: Yes. When I found out that they are officially a couple already…inamin naman sa akin ni JL yun. And we tried naman our best to say goodbye finally. Kasi, di ba, normally when you say goodbye, goodbye na talaga? Some cases, that’s really true. But sometimes for some people when you say goodbye, later hello ulit.”

Cristy: Pero kahit inamin na ni John Lloyd kay Ruffa na sila na ni Shaina ay tuloy pa rin naman daw ang communication nilang dalawa. Nagtatawagan pa rin daw sila. Pero nag-decide na rin si Ruffa na itigil na rin ang pakikipag-usap kay John Lloyd.

Ruffa: Gusto ko rin naman kasing respetuhin yung karelasyon niya ngayon.

John Lloyd Named Overlap King, Does He Deserve It?

John Lloyd Cruz has a new title that was bestowed to him by showbiz writers and columnists after his turbulent and controversy-filled lovelife has been put under the vigilant radar of people.

John Lloyd Cruz is now labeled as the Overlap King.

This came about after John Lloyd admitted (at last!) his rumored relationship with Shaina Magdayao. But a serious question was raised by Boy Abunda regarding the issue whether his relationship with Shaina and Ruffa Gutierrez (which John Lloyd called a “very special relationship) did overlap. To this the box-office king quickly denied.

However, people are not convinced yet this because there are people who say that even when John Lloyd and Shaina are already on, the latter is still spotted with Ruffa Gutierrez and is still actively communicating.

Ruffa and John Lloyd most recently were spotted biking together to which Ruffa said “Not true. We didn’t bike together. In fact, I don’t go biking at all,” but was also caught saying on one TV interview that what they did was at least clean fun.

Others report through their articles online that John Lloyd actually had a hard time choosing between Shaina and Ruffa.

Well, the question to guys now is, does John Lloyd really deserve to be called an “Overlap King”? Share your thoughts?

John Lloyd Cruz after so many months of silence and denials, dubbed as one of the denial kings of Philippine showbiz side by side Aljur Abrenica of the Kapuso Network has already spoken and settled all the issues hounding him.

During yesterday’s “The Buzz” segment with TV show host Boy Abunda, John Lloyd admitted that Shaina Magdayao is his new love.

John Lloyd and Shaina were spotted in Singapore last week dining on a restaurant and obviously trying to elude the public eye.

The actor also admitted that he and Ruffa Gutierrez had a “very special relationship” but denied of an overlapping relationship between with Ruffa and Shaina.

He also settled the issue that floated that he had stolen Shaina from John Pratts and he was the very reason of the break-up.

The revelations yesterday make John Lloyd Cruz a graduate of Bachelor of Arts in Showbiz Denial (AB SD)…at least for now.

Ruffa Gutierrez bared to the public that fellow TV show host DJ Mo and Kapuso star Rhian Ramos were together in Paris and says that she stands on her report. Moreover, Ruffa also shared that DJ Mo gifted Rhian a pair of shoes with a tag price of more than a thousand dollars.

“He told me na may binigyan siya ng sapatos. And I found out, it was Rhian.”

What could have been Ruffa’s intention of revealing this story about her fellow host?

“Well, I’m sure he has his reason. Ang importante nakaganti na ako sa panlalaglag niya na ginawa niya sa akin 2-weeks ago,” sambit ni Ruffa na ang tinutukoy ay ang ikinuwento naman ni DJ Mo na nagkita sila ni John Lloyd Cruz kamakailan.”

DJ Mo broke the story weeks ago about Ruffa and John Lloyd Cruz seeing each other again. Both had long been rumored as having a romantic relationship but none of them confirmed it.

The wordrobe malfunction has become a fad and a phenomenon in Philippine showbiz.

Vice Ganda is really having the best run of his showbiz career. With the great popularity of morning talent show “Showtime”, Vice Ganda is eyeing another boost to his career.

Court Gives Ruffa Gutierrez Sole Custody over her Children with Yilmaz Bektas

After getting entangled with controversy with Kris Aquino on the TV show“The Buzz”, this could be one sigh of relief for sexy actress, TV host and former beauty queen Ruffa Gutierrez.

The QC Regional Trial Court Branch 107 issued a resolution dated March 11 giving the custody of her two daughters with Yilmaz Bektas to her. Judge Jose Bautista had given Ruffa the “sole custody” of Lorin, 5, and Venice, 4. Her ex-husband on the other hand was given visitation rights.

Asked to comment about the decision of the court on The Buzz, Ruffa said,

This is not about monetary support or anything… I just want everything done legal. I think it’s only proper that we make it all formal… especially as this concerns our kids.

Yilmaz is expected to visit his daughters soon in the Philippines and plans to bring to the beach.

Gretchen Barretto on “The Buzz” But Annabelle Should Also Apologize

As reported here weeks ago, Grechen Barretto replacing on Ruffa Gutierrez on the TV show, “The Buzz” that was last Sunday highlighted by a hullabaloo she and her mother caused in lieu with Ruffa’s walkout.

First Point: Though Ruffa had already accepted Krissy’s humble apologies to what we may call a little misunderstanding blown into a national issue for publicity’s sake, and Ruffa also asking for apologies to Noynoy Aquino, the big guns of her mother instantaneously fell silent.

If I may, Annabelle Rama should in the first place be the one to have been asking for apologies to Noynoy Aquino and family, for what has been a very unbecoming behavior and remarks uncalled for a public figure and a mother of celebrities. But as usual, her over-inflated ego will never tell her to stoop down and ask for any apology. As what Pilate said, “What has been written is written.” For Rama though,”What has been uttered, was uttered.” WTF!

Second Point: Gretchen Barretto coming into the picture of the Sunday showbiz talk show will make it even a more exciting program compared with Ruffa around. What we are all excited to see is the face off between La Greta and Kristeta.

Will it also come to a point of another walkout? Hmmm, we will know…Who will walkout?… We will know if it will reach to that point. At least Gretchen does not have a mother who throws out punches below the belt.

But with all certainty, while Rufa was trying to bring with her the attention of people as she transfers to TV5, people will stick their hearts on “The Buzz” especially with Gretchen Barretto around.

Kris Aquino May Take a Leave From “The Buzz” Due to Ruffa’s Walkout

After the Ruffa Gutierrez walkout on “The Buzz” that had dragged the name of Noynoy Aquino into the issue due to the insensitive remarks of her mom Annabelle Rama, and now Kris Aquino said that she is willing to take a leave from the show if ever the management asks it from her, despite her act of asking for apologies to the Gutierrezes.

Kris shared her thoughts about this during an interview with ABS-CBN News:

Many people can, of course, take my place. And if management does decide it’s for the best, then I would gladly abide by kung ano ang sabihin ng ABS-CBN. It’s not like kulang naman ako sa trabaho kasi nag-uumapaw naman kaya maraming salamat.

This statement stems from some unverified reports that there are people who are asking for Kris to be removed from “The Buzz”.

The Renegade Blogger’s Take on this: Damn! Why take a leave when the immaturity of some people at the same time the lack of good manners of a mom who joins in the petty misunderstanding of her daughter was the real source of this whole issue? As far as most people is concerned and the review of that particular episode, there is non that could indeed really warrant such a drastic measure for Kris to take a leave from the show just to appease the camp of Rama who aimed its big guns to an innocent presidential bet and hit the Aquino Family below the belt.

Some commenters on this blog even brought the issue that the whole thing may have even be a publicity stunt for Ruffa as she is transferring to TV5.

Rama has been like this, and if there is someone who should be banned from showbiz or censored by authorities, it should be Annabelle Rama who is a bad influence more so not a role model to all televiewers everytime she unlocks the gates of her mouth.
