When everyone thought that it is singing sensation Charice Pempengco who is set to sing the National Anthem of the Philippines on the WBO Welterweight bout of Manny Pacquiao against Ghanian Joshua Clottey on March 13, 2010, well, it is not her.

Pinoy frontman of the rock band “Journey” Arnel Pineda was the one commissioned by Pacquiao’s camp to sing the National Anthem during his fight at the Cowboy’s Stadium in Texas.

Hope this time around no more issue will be raised against the singing of the National Anthem as what had previously happened with La Diva and others.
