GMA7 Network Corporate Communications Executives issued an official statement regarding the rumor that Claudine Barretto’s weekly drama special entitled “Claudine” is soon going to air its last episode due to poor ratings.

“It is not true that GMA-7?s weekly drama program Claudine has been cancelled. It will run until August, completing its 16-week season, as originally scheduled. Thereafter, Ms. Claudine Barretto will be busy preparing for her new soap in the Kapuso Network.
We would like to assure the viewers and fans of Claudine that there is no truth to this rumor, and also take this opportunity to invite them to watch the upcoming episodes every Saturday because they will definitely be pleased with the remarkable performances and stories we have lined up for them.”
So there it is, Claudine’s show will not be cancelled but still has to end after 16 weeks soon.
